Meet the Teacher

I trained with the BWY (British Wheel of Yoga), the national governing body of yoga in the UK. The 500-hour course focused on the principles of Hatha yoga including asana, pranayama, kriya, mudra, deep relaxation and meditation; the origins and historical background of Yoga and the principles of teaching.

I have also completed the pregnancy and postnatal yoga module through the BWY which covers modifications and adaptations for pregnancy including exercise ball work, breath preparation for labour and post-natal exercises. I am fully insured and qualified in emergency first aid.

I am a member of REPs (Registered Exercise Professional) and currently teach at various locations across Southampton and beyond. Further details of my classes can be found here
